Dissertation Proposal

Dissertation proposal and IRB were approved in January!!

I began data collection in February and am finishing it in June of 2010.

I will begin data analysis in June!!

I have my Comprehensive questions approved by Yolanda. They are: Q#1: How do teachers cevelop capacity for teaching reading through critical pedagogy?
KA-753 Systems Thinking and Intervention, KA-769 Structural Inequality and Diversity, KA-775 Theories of Learning

Comp. Question #2: What is the role of the participant researcher in an action research project?
KA- 751 Action Oriented Research, KA-752 Leadership and Change, KA-765 Interpersonal Communication and Collaboration

I have also completed Depth and Applied for KA in Interpersonal Communication and Collaboration. I have completed Applied and Overview for KA in Critical Pedagogy in Second Life. I still have to complete the Overview for Interpersoanl Communication and Collaboration and the Depth for Critical Pedagogy in Second Life.

Yolanda invited me to participate in a project with the University of Guadalajara, Letters to Fly! I am very excited about learning how to collaborate internationally.
