I can't believe it has been so long since I blogged. I have accomplished a lot since January. I have completed all papers for KA STI and KA SID. I have also completed work for my KA in leadership and have yet to do my portfolio project. Once that is complete, and get feedback from Yolanda and make corrections I will have 3 KAs complete.
I start a KA in Action oriented research in May. We have a planning meeting on Friday to select topics and confirm our schedule for conference calls. I will also get library books for the KA I have open with Jenny and June on Interpersonal communication. I am feeling some progress now!
Yolanda spent some time with me working on my dissertation topic last week. It helped clarify what I need to think about and narrowed my topic to a title. Yolanda has asked me to write an abstract using the APA manuel as a guide. I will do that with this topic as an exercise. I would also like to think about other topics, not sure if I am landing yet. The title Yolanda and I narrowed on was: How do teachers talk about students and themselves. There is alot more thinking we did around this and I plan to blog all of these thoughts this week. Not ready to do that now. Just sent off a paper to Yolanda and a glass of wine is calling me!
